Holy invertebrate, Batman! I went to let the dog out before bed and, in the porch light, I saw something draped over the side of the flower pot. I thought it was a garter snake or something, so I stepped a little closer to get a better look and found this GINORMOUS slug hanging out.
Ewwwww! I would have rather found a snake, I think! This sucker was probably close to 6 inches long and at least a half-inch thick or more. Naturally, I had to take a picture of it. Then I called Marty out to take a look. He couldn't believe that I didn't want to capture it to show to the kids the next day. Yeah, right!
