Magic Shell (August 2)

This may be hard to make out, but this is a hand-made conch shell lamp. This treasure was discovered at a deceased relative's house by none other than Grandma D. She knew that Mr. Max would love, love, love this shell and she brought it to him as a gift. It's creator was Grandma D's uncle and he was an electrician by trade. He enjoyed using his skills to make some amazing creations - this lamp being one of them. I know he would be proud to know how much Max loves this lamp and that he turns it on every night before bed. He insisted that I try to capture its glowing beauty on film so he could always remember what it looks like - the magic, glowing shell.
