Red Bud Branch

The red bud trees are absolutely gorgeous this year. It seems like the blossoms are lasting longer than ever. We have several red bud trees bordering our parking lot on the bank of the Flat Branch Creek behind our office building. For the last few days, I have been admiring them every morning. Today, even though I was already running late, I decided I'd better capture these before the wind blew them all away. Last summer, Natalie and Marty planted a red bud tree in our front yard and it started to bloom this spring. I hope someday it is as lovely as these trees, too.
