Today was a very big day for a certain 9-year-old. Natalie got her ears pierced! She only recently discussed wanting to get her ears pierced and a few weeks back she and I were at the mall and we priced the options. Then she didn't talk about it again for a while. When she got some birthday money from Uncle Luke, she decided that she was ready to go. She was a real trooper and didn't even flinch when she got them done. She says they don't hurt a bit and is already dreaming of the fancy new earrings she'll be picking out with her 20% off coupon she got at the mall. I can't believe how fast she is growing up.
